How to set up your profile:

You’ve registered your ministry on Gaingive.com and are excited to share it with your family, friends, and supporters! But wait, there are a few housekeeping tasks that need to be finished before your profile is ready to go LIVE on the site . To ensure that each ministry is represented well on Gaingive, additional information is needed be f ore the profile can be approved.

Step 1: Login to Gaingive account Now that you have register your ministry on Gaingive.com, you can use the same email and password you chose to login. Go to the Gaingive homepage, navigate to the ‘Ministry’ section on the top right-hand portion of the header bar then click login. A prompt will display requesting your ministry’s email and password (see image below). *Note: If you haven’t registered ye t, go ahead a register your ministry by clicking on the ‘Register’ underneath the ‘Login’ button.

Step 2: Navigate to Dashboard After logging in, hover your mouse over your name in the right hand corner of the page and click on ‘Dashboard’ in the drop down menu. From there, click through each tab in your Dashboard (‘Donations’, ‘Ministry Information’, ‘Withdraw’, and ‘Profile’) and provide the needed information. Until the information is save and submitted, a message kindly requesting the information will display on your Dashboard (see image below). * Note: Make sure to click ‘SAVE’ then ‘REQUEST APPROVAL’ .

Step 3: ‘Ministry Information’ Tab This section contains the information about your ministry that will be displayed on your Gaingive profile. It is important that you double check all information for spelling and accuracy. For example, the ‘Title’ field is the name of your ministry that will display on the site. If there are several ministries with similar names, consider adding the city the ministry is in. Also, to get the most out of your profile, use the ‘About your charity’ section to express the ministries mission and vision within 3-4 sentences (see images below). * Note : The profile will not be ap pr oved without a ‘Feature Image’ uploaded. This should be a high – quality image that communicates what your ministry offers.

Step 4: ‘Withdraw’ Tab The information in this tab will enable the ministry to get paid once there is ‘Available Payout’. The amount displayed shown in ‘Available Payout’ is the current money ready to be transferred to the ministry’s PayPal account. The ‘Withdraw’ tab will also keep records of ‘Withdraw History’ (see images below). *Note that there must b e a min imum of $50 available to transfer before funds can be moved to ministry PayPal.

Step 5: ‘Profile’ Tab This section contains ‘Member Details’. This information helps Gaingive get to know you and finishes up your profile details. The more details, the better! Make sure to click ‘Update Your Settings’ before leaving the page (see image below). *Note: If you need to change you r account email or password, you can do so in the ‘Profile’ tab.

Step 6: Watch the Donations Grow! Once your profile is approved, you will receive an email notifying you. Your ministry profile is now LIVE and can be shared with your family, friends, and supporters! Facebook is a great place to start sharing about your Gaingive profile but don’t forget about other social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), the ministry website, and monthly newsletters. Keep watch on the number of donors and donations in your ‘Dashboard’ (see image below). *Note: T he more you share your ministry’s link and encourage people to shop through Gaingive , the more funding you can raise for your ministry!
