Hi! My name is Becca Mausling. I am 22 years old and from Reno, Nevada. I graduated in May 2019 with a B.S. in Business Management. Through the duration of college I was active in Grace Church and as a Young Life College leader at the University of Nevada. While While I had been called through the course of a community group and in prayer to pursue an international mission, I believed it was necessary to start a career upon graduation because I could always continue to serve in my community and go on an international mission trip later. I had been pursuing my own plan and through multiple challenges, including being laid off from the job I got after graduation, it became very clear God’s plan was for me to apply to the World Race and pursue international ministry now, not later.
I have always had a heart for adventure and pushing my comfort zones, especially when they are supported by God and that is why I believe He has called me to the Expedition Route as well. I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to share my story and the love of Jesus through the Expedition Route of the Race and look forward to being able to use the experiences I have on this mission to impact my life longterm. Coming from Reno, a city lacking in churches and positive exposure to the light of the Holy Spirit, I feel as though God has given me the unique ability to empathize with many of those whom have not had the opportunity of knowing Him. I look forward to applying my heart for Jesus to my Race experience and glorifying God every step of the way.
